In this Beginner course, participants will have a comprehensive overview on how they can process and respond appropriately while finding ways to grow in the changing dynamics of work situations. They will get acquainted with the different self-care and self-awareness techniques, learning to use information processing techniques and measure the impact of one’s decision to their organisation. The program covers essential topics such as techniques on self-awareness, self-concepts, problem-solving, questioning, self-care, ideation and how to monitor one’s work performance in response to the evolving work contexts. By the end of the course, participants can adapt current work activities from internal and external changes by supporting their organisation’s transformational plan, staying relevant and resilient in the evolving context of the industry. 

What you will learn

Participants will be able to:

• Apply self-care strategies in response to challenging work situations using self-awareness concepts, questioning techniques, emotional regulation, and information processing techniques. (LO1)
• Understand work processes through ideation, problem solving and experimentation techniques in order to respond to new work requirements and/or challenging situations. (LO2)
• Determine suitable skills and knowledge on impact measurement in monitoring one’s potential for development that he/she requires to remain employable. (LO3)

Minimum Requirement

• Age: between 30 and 55 years
• Education: Primary education; Secondary education; NITEC graduates
• Literacy/Numeracy level: WPLN Level 3 or 4
