About Us

SSA Academy is an established learning solution company. We started in 1986 providing corporate courses in conjunction with our management consultancy service. When the Workforce Development Agency was set up in 2005 by the Singapore government, we were appointed as one of the pioneer-approved training organisations offering Workforce Skill Qualification (WSQ) courses.

SSA Academy has been a key player of the Singapore government’s *WSQ programme since its launch as a national competency-based skills development and certification system in 2005.

*The Singapore Workforce Skills Qualifications (WSQ) is a national credential system that trains, develops, assesses, and certifies skills and competencies for the workforce.

SSA Academy has helped create WSQ training programmes such as Workplace literacy and numeracy, Workplace Skills, and Generic Manufacturing skills. SSA today offers seven holistic WSQ Programmes

SSA Academy continues to develop new courses, exploring different training delivery modes and applying new instructional methods to meet the learning and developmental needs of our learners and organisational clients

SSA Group has consistently been ranked amongst Singapore’s SME1000 since 2013 and has won numerous awards.

Solid network of sister companies

SSA Academy collaborates with its sister company, SSA Culinary Institute which offers Food and Beverage and culinary-related WSQ and non-WSQ courses. The culinary institute is ranked amongst the top 10 culinary schools in Singapore and the only one providing an eclectic range of Halal culinary courses

Apart from SSA Culinary Institute, SSA Academy also works very closely with SSA Consulting, the group management and productivity consulting arm to offer truly turnkey business improvement and transformation services that span the entire organisational improvement value-chain, from organisational analysis to process reengineering, from job redesign to skills training and people development.
