Cleaning & Hygiene (PWM)

Effective 1st September 2022, it is mandatory for cleaning companies and employers of in-house cleaners to meet the Progressive Wage Model wage and training requirements for cleaners who are Singapore citizens or permanent residents. Employers must ensure that their cleaners meet the in-house PWM training requirement of any 1 Workforce Skills Qualification course.

Retail (PWM)

Effective 1 September 2022, employers must meet the PWM requirements in order to renew existing work passes or apply for new work passes. Employers must ensure that their Singapore citizen and PR retail workers meet the retail PWM training requirements of attaining at least 1 Workforce Skills Qualification (WSQ) Statement of Attainment, out of the list of approved WSQ training modules.
