Course Description

Are you eager for success? Do you have what it takes to turn your ideas into reality? Do you have the courage to leave your comfort zone for something better? Can you risk the uncertainties for the possibility of greater success?

Sounds grand and wonderful but also a little scary, doesn’t it? Initiative and enterprise are important qualities to have in any organisation as they drive innovation and effective solutions to challenges. Organisations that support a culture of continuous improvement realise their business goals more effectively compared with other organisations that do not.

However, being enterprising goes beyond normal effort and may involve some rocking-of-the- boat, which may upset some members of the organisation. You may encounter opposition and arguments like, why fix what isn’t broken? You’re doing things differently, therefore, you’re doing things wrong.

To find better solutions and create more effective outcomes, you need to take a good look at your organisation’s usual habits to see if they’re actually aligned with business goals. This course will help you plan ways to enhance the usual practices and generate solutions to help the members of your organisation cope with the changes.

As with any change, there are risks. This course will also help you develop strategies to identify, evaluate, and manage the associated risks of establishing a culture of initiative and enterprise in your organisation.
