What you will learn

This course equips learners, especially those aged 40 and above, with the essential skills to shop online confidently and securely. Through a structured learning approach, participants will gain hands-on experience with digital payments, e-commerce platforms, and fraud prevention.

• Unit 1: Using PayNow for Secure e-Payments
  Learners will set up and use PayNow for seamless transactions. They will understand QR code payments, linking bank accounts, verifying transactions, and managing payment records.
• Unit 2: Shopping on Shopee
  Building on their payment skills, learners will navigate Shopee’s interface, search for products, apply discounts, add items to their cart, and complete purchases using PayNow. They will also learn to track orders and manage refunds.
• Unit 3: Avoiding Transaction Scams
  This unit focuses on cybersecurity, helping learners identify phishing attempts, fake sellers, and suspicious payment requests. They will apply best practices for secure transactions and recognize red flags in online shopping.

•  Educational Background: No formal education to lower secondary education
• Digital Literacy Level: Beginner with little to no prior experience with digital tools.
