Opening SkillsFuture Credit of $500
All Singapore citizens aged 25 years and above received an opening credit of S$500 from January 2016. Singapore citizens who are less than 25 years old will receive their $500 credit once they turn 25.
SkillsFuture Credit Top Up 2020
To support Singaporeans to continue learning, the Government provided a one-off SkillsFuture Credit Top-Up of $500 for all eligible Singaporeans on 1 October 2020. This SkillsFuture Credit Top-Up is in addition to the SkillsFuture of $500 from 2016. Any unused credit from this top-up will expire on 31 December 2025.
Singaporeans aged 25 and above and who have not used their SkillsFuture Credit to-date will therefore have $1,000 available in their SFC account.
Additional SkillsFuture Credit Top Up for those aged 40 to 60 years old
The Government provided an Additional SkillsFuture Credit (Mid-Career Support) under the SkillsFuture Mid-Career Support Package of $500 on 1 October 2020 for all eligible Singaporeans aged 40 to 60 as of 31 December 2020. Any unused credit from this top-up will expire on 31 December 2025.
This Additional SkillsFuture Credit (Mid-Career Support) is in addition to the SkillsFuture Credit Top-Up of $500 for all eligible Singaporeans.
